The Origin Story of The Next Step

Sometimes, you have the learn the same lesson over and over and over again, because it's just that important.

Once upon a time, I was tasked to write a keynote. I did, and it was pretty mediocre. A mentor told me so, and I spent the following week writing an entirely different keynote, starting again from square #1. The Next Step is the idea that was born out of the rewrite, and now here I am, two and a half years later, still reminding myself of the truths I needed to hear then.
